73 percent were brides who wanted a lovely white, satin shoe to wear with their wedding gowns.
Another 10 percent were the mothers of either the bride or the groom. They wanted shoes that could be dyed to compliment (not match ) their dress or outfit.
About 10 percent were bridesmaids who wanted shoes dyed to match their gown.
4 percent of purchasers wanted dyed shoes for a special occasion.
2 percent wanted shoes that matched their prom dresses.
1 percent were former brides who wanted to breathe new life into the shoes they wore to their wedding by dying them a color.
Whats so special about dyeable shoes?
First and foremost, these shoes can be dyed almost any color. In fact, you have a choice of up to 70 shades of color. When you say green, do you mean holly or olive? Kelly green or clover? Fern or jade? Instead of red, there is ruby, apple and sangria. And its not blue. Its a choice of blue velvet, navy, marine or capri. You get the idea.
